This Fairy Tale Cottage started it’s life on a piece of graph paper borrowed from a fifth grader’s school binder. The look was profes-sionally translated by Once Upon a Cottage into a realistic floor plan and a fanciful, but buildable design that just requires a bit more care and time in the construction process to create priceless character. Our Napkin Design Services only require a photo, a sketch, a movie reference, or a magazine clipping to convert a dream or an existing home into a real cottage for you to live your life’s story in.
Fees will depend on the extent of the design, and will be agreed upon during the initial consultation. Final results will be in the form of detailed sketches - floor plans and four elevations - ¼” = 1’- 0”, with rough dimensions. A follow-up phone consultation is also included. Further design services can be discussed if a complete working set of drawings is desired.
